Ivo Stoyanov’s work is bold and dynamic. Inspired by nature’s colours, forms, and textures, he creates uniquely complex compositions that demand attention. This lively mixed media piece in a vivid blue against an expressive backdrop of white and black is made from a combination of acrylic paint, marble dust and cold wax. Stoyanov’s method creates a lush visible texture that enhances the geometric forms—one of a series.

Ivo Stoyanov received a master’s degree in Mural Painting from the Fine Arts Academy in Sofia, Bulgaria (1990). His artwork is collected in the US, Canada, Japan, the UK, China, the United Arab Emirates, Spain and Bulgaria.
