A strong brushstroke here, and a contrasting color there is the result of inner experiences and observations accumulated bit by bit over the years. I put on creative movements, shapes, and colors that portray my interior, allowing it to become an independent being, one vibrating with life. Its creative power is not limited; it can always be reinvented. Abstract Expressionism reveals anxiety, joy, victory, defeat, etc. in their most raw, truest sense. They come to life with every color and brushstroke used on its media. When I sit facing a blank, white screen, I feel insecurity and doubt about our human existence. Where do we come from? Where are we going? I believe the language of art brings forth the assurance that everything is part of our Creator’s greater plan. Painting and drawing have their own wisdom and madness, communicated through the Artistic Triad- a process composed of the artist, the creation, and the observer.
