About the Item
Kerry’s education followed the principles of the Bauhaus . He has practiced professionally in all three disciplines of Art, Design, and Architecture. Often as the liaison between these disciplines. He has lived and worked in Raleigh, Los Angeles, London, Berlin, and currently in Amsterdam and his paintings are scattered throughout the world in various corporate and private collections.
The village Kill Devil Hills in North Carolina is what inspires this painting. Kerry Horne grew up in the area and he used to enjoy beautiful summers on the coast. Now based in Amsterdam, with a nostalgic look to the past but his present playful brushstrokes and colourful abstractions, Kerry remembers the good old days under the sun.
