About the Item
This is a unique work on paper, 26 x 40 inches, created in 2020. The ongoing "snoopies" series continues to hold my interest after more than 20 years of my celebrating this celebrity subject.
At first one may not notice the overall patterning is constructed by an accretion of the simple dog head shape. Often a welcome surprise that comes with spending some time surveying the colorful surface patterning. This cloned dog populates the space of the rectangle picture plane making playful the idea of uniformity and regiment.
