Bold abstract composition by Robert William Hinds (American, b. 1926). This composition is brushed white over a pale blue base coat, a broad red panel is off center with a right Triangle in Blue off to the side creating an interesting geometric pattern.
Signed and dated "Robert William Hines / 93" on verso.

Robert William Hinds (American, b. 1924) is an artist, illustrator, sculptor, and educator originally from Ohio. Hinds worked as a graphic designer for about 15 years in New York but left to pursue sculpting and painting full-time. He studied casting techniques in Bologna, Italy before returning to the United Stated and settling in Santa Fe. Hinds was a United Nations Artist, living in the Caribbean where he taught and directed art programs. His world travels are frequently reflected in the themes of his art.
