About the Item

Sarah Svetlana's original abstract artworks offer a captivating glimpse into the intricacies of the human experience, drawing inspiration from a diverse range of sources and influences. Her unique artistic style is heavily influenced by her upbringing in the irreconcilable cultures of Soviet Belarus and immigrant America, which has led to a constant search for identity and self-expression. Sarah Svetlana skillfully portrays this search in her paintings, creating mesmerizing works that serve as painted roadmaps between two worlds. Her pieces are a testament to the relentless pursuit of a sense of belonging in an ever-changing world, offering a rich and thought-provoking insight into the complexities of the human psyche. This large 54 inch high by 50 inch wide original artwork is an abstract composition on canvas. It is wired and ready to hang. The sides of the artwork are painted and it does not require framing. It is signed by the artist on the back of the artwork. Free local Los Angeles area delivery. Affordable U.S. and international shipping are available. A certificate of authenticity issued by the art gallery is included. Sarah Svetlana is a renowned abstract artist based in the bustling city of Los Angeles. Svetlana's paintings do not only suggest hectic movement, but the stillness locked in each gesture of that movement. Her work is “rooted somewhere between the vibrant expression of Kandinsky and the line-certainty of the early 20th century Futurists.” Each painting is a piece of the complex topography that defines both her identity and her work. Through the narratives created by a methodical application of color, she delivers an invocation of home - spectral and surreal, but familiar at the same time. “Perfection is boring. The colors I choose I take from my childhood. The bright palette and shapes soothe my soul, and each line, no matter how small or seemingly insignificant, is a vital moment, an emotion, suspended in time.” Through her masterful use of color, line, and form, Sarah Svetlana's artworks offer a mesmerizing insight into the intricacies of the human experience, inviting viewers to embark on a journey of self-discovery and reflection. Innocence and Renewal - Original Green Abstract Oil Painting
Located in Los Angeles, CA
Mark Acetelli’s oil and mixed media paintings awaken the viewer’s sense of exploration and adventure; they demand a new discovery. His artworks exhibit a chemistry of complexity and spontaneity, a lyrical abstraction of frenzied marks, many of which previously lay hidden, buried beneath strong layers of self-taught expression. Those truths, first obscured and then obvious, aim to engage the viewer, allowing them to explore their own interpretation. His figurative abstract artworks are represented by Artspace Warehouse in Los Angeles and have been exhibited and collected worldwide, including London, New York, and Hong Kong. This original oil painting on canvas measures 60 inches high by 48 inches wide. In his distinct abstract expressionist style, Acetelli uses a captivating blend of color and form to create an ethereal scene filled with serenity and introspection. The artwork is wired and ready to hang. The sides of the artwork are painted black and it does not require framing. It is signed by the artist on the front of the artwork and titled on the back. Free local Los Angeles area delivery. Affordable U.S. and international shipping is available. A certificate of authenticity issued by Artplex Gallery is included. Mark Acetelli was born in Detroit into an artistic household. Mark’s mother herself was a painter and some of his earliest memories were the smell of turpentine and oil paints. Growing up surrounded by his mother's work, she inspired and encouraged him to become an artist. Acetelli’s paintings are inspired by the intensely personal introspective journey of life, from the ever-changing complexities of love, loss, birth, and death. The context of his work he describes as, “Absence and Presence” pertaining to how someone or something can be physically gone, but the essence still remains. Capturing the physical mixed with spirituality on canvas. His application of paint is an extension of that thought process. He works by continuously building up and tearing down, layer upon layer, adding and subtracting. A visceral dance between the conscious and the unconscious until the emotion is expressed. Acetelli’s paintings may go through multiple incarnations with the past lying just beneath the surface, adding to its overall dimension and depth. Acetelli's mastery of abstraction is evident in his use of color and form to evoke emotion and atmosphere. In his work, Acetelli seeks to evoke a feeling rather than depict a defined image. He uses primarily oils and encaustics to create thickly layered canvases with emotive bursts of color. Creating a world where imagination and reality come together. Acetelli’s works can be found in many private and corporate collections around the world, including Bill Withers, Lisa Colburn, Colburn School of Music, Raytheon Corp, Universal Studios, Warner Brothers, Michael Jordan, Stuart Beattie, Claire Forlani, Camryn Manheim, and Francine Maisler.
