To create an active dynamic to this original abstract expressionist Italian landscape trending artist Sonia Grineva combines styles and techniques to best reflect her subject matter while using her own international plein air experiences as inspiration. Grineva was originally educated at the Stroganov Institute in her native Russia, earning both a bachelors degree and masters of fine art. Her subsequent studies at the National Academy of Design in NYC earned her extensive accolades including a scholarship to continue her studies in Florence, Italy, at the British Institute. Already in demand internationally, Grineva's work has been widely shown from the Vatican to Pfizer to Time Warner to the Harvard and Yale Clubs to the White House. While her works remain popular with her exclusive group of private collectors, she maintains a residence and studio both in Manhattan and Sardinia.
