Musically inspired oil painting with lively color from Stephen Henriques, who is influenced by Bonnard and Vuillard, and the western landscape and its light. When referring to his oil on abstract canvases that glow with turquoise, lavender, yellow, and pink, he says,"magnificent color is my greatest gift and joy". A California painter, Stephen Henriques is strongly influenced by music; and specifically jazz. 'Headlands V' is a pure abstraction where color reigns and the senses are dazzled in the composition that is at once, balanced and harmonious.
Traditional oil on canvas 58 x 58 inches in excellent condition.
