About the Item

This geometric abstract painting, titled "GA2402", is part of the "Geometric Abstraction" series. "GA2402" showcases circular and rectangular shapes in a monochromatic palette of black, white, and grey tones. The piece exudes a modern aesthetic, making it an ideal fit for contemporary, minimalist, or mid-century modern interiors. --- Zach Touchon is an American contemporary abstract expressionist artist and muralist based in Los Angeles, California, and Dallas Fort Worth, Texas. In addition to his artistic endeavors, Touchon is an actor, singer, screenwriter, and writer. As a second-generation artist, Touchon reinterprets abstract expressionism through various media, creating large abstract artworks, collages, massive murals, and interior installations. His art primarily focuses on exploring depth and space, striving to find a balance between semantic and aesthetic elements. Zach Touchon's works are part of private collections of notable figures including the Vice Chairman at Sotheby's, the Founder of Concrete Media Manhattan, the Chairman of DPP Real Estate, the Chief Executive Officer of Los Angeles Conservancy, the Founder of Paper or Plastic Café and MiMoDa Studio in Los Angeles, the Architecture + Design Director at Compass Real Estate in Los Angeles, the Founder of EXPOSED Art Centre, and SIX3NINE Personal Training in London, among many others. As a muralist, Touchon stands alongside renowned LA street artists such as WRDSMTH, Retna, Shepard Fairey, and Dirt Cobain, contributing to the city's beautification and highlighting socially relevant topics. Touchon is also the owner of Touchon&Co Gallery, which was established in Downtown Los Angeles in 2017 and remained there for three years before relocating to Santa Monica in 2020. In 2021, the gallery was relaunched as Touchon Gallery. Today, the artist works from his hometown of Dallas Fort Worth in Texas, where Touchon Gallery and his studio are now located, while maintaining a strong connection to the Los Angeles art scene. #geometricabstractart #blackandwhiteartwork #monochromepainting #minimalistwallart #geometricabstraction #contemporaryart #moderndecor #fineartcanvas #collectibleart #abstractinteriordesign #galleryqualityart

CC1120 Unstretched Abstract Light Green Blue White Quotes Words Dictionary
By Zach Touchon
Located in Beverly Hills, CA
This work is a part of the "Chaos and Control Theory" Series - the artist's signature series. It was created with the pages from an Oxford Dictionary of Quotations. This technique gives a special character to the work - you can play with it by asking questions, pointing to any part of the work, and you will get a meaningful phrase or a word. The work has blue and white colors. Great for the modern interior. The artwork is currently unstretched and will be shipped rolled. We offer stretching services for an additional $400.00, which will take approximately 3 weeks to complete. Please note that the shipping cost for a stretched canvas will need to be calculated upon request. -- "Chaos and Control Theory" Series is about depth and space. It’s about information overload, and what information looks like when you take out a meaning. I create lots of layers, using found materials and printed materials. I do an abstract expressionism painting on a surface first before I apply the printed and found materials. And then I begin to organize the surface, ultimately thinking about balance and flow and how the piece is going to contribute to the space it is going to be hanging in. -- Zach Touchon is an American contemporary abstract expressionist artist and muralist based in Los Angeles, CA. Besides that, Touchon is also an actor, a singer, a screenwriter, and a writer. Zach Touchon is an artist in the second generation. By rethinking abstract expressionism ideas, using different media he creates large abstract artwork along with small collages, huge...

"Untitled B_W" Abstract Acrylic Painting 44" x 40" by DOT ABOUT THE ARTIST: By compiling concepts from multiple philosophies, DOT’s Art seeks to explore an idea that has developed from different roots. Through the use of repeating geometric patterns enhanced by different color theories. A hallucinatory visual field is created. Thus forcing the viewer's perspective to be pushed into a moment of visual confusion. According to theories in Neuroplasticity, these perspective shifts are catalysts that have the potential to rewire neural pathways and ultimately affect thinking and behavior. Being self-taught DOT leaned into his understanding of scientific concepts and techniques to develop his artistic explorations. In his most recent body of work, a surgical repetition of shifting color fields reflects his curiosities in the space of visual perception. These lines tend to create a static movement...
