He held his first exhibition in 1993 in Omdurman, Sudan, in one of its public libraries. Artist Omar Kamal regards art as the only knowledge in the world in which the artist is always in a state of truth. Omar uses color in his work as a translation of life. He tells a story of a parallel world in which shapes, colors and vocabulary transcend so that the paintings depict life, truth, love and beauty. The subjects of his work are inspired from everyday life, such as religious ceremonies and rituals as well as weddings. The way Omar perceives art enables him to paint with impartiality and love. Omar participated in more than 30 exhibitions around the world, most of them were solo exhibitions. His work was displayed in Khartoum, Ethiopia, Kenya, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the Sultanate of Oman, the United Arab Emirates and Europe. The works of Omar Kamal are acquired in many countries around the world, such as the USA, Australia, Canada, UAE Africa.
