"The Gondole" by Alex Perez is an Original Oil Painting on Canvas. It is signed by the artist, unframed and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity (see photo). The piece is in Fair Condition (there are areas of minor cracking in the paint surface along the edges of the canvas).
Alex Perez was born in Chile in 1946, and opened his own gallery in 2013. He was trained by his father, also an oil painter, and is represented in numerous private collections. Perez’ work is well known throughout the world for its fine realist style and its soft, transfixing subject matter.

Alex Perez
Alex Perez is a fourth-generation artist. After graduating from the Academy of Fine Arts in Santiago, he worked in his father's studio-the Ibero-Chilean painter Eduardo Perez, where he acquired most of his artistic knowledge and skill. In 1964, he moved to Israel, where he worked until 2003. Currently residing in Chile, Perez's work fuses a sophisticated color sensibility with a romantic impressionistic approach, and he expresses his passion and joie de vivre by recording Nature on the canvas. His color technique imbibes the shifting of light as the day progresses from dawn to dusk and back again, the vividness of colors breathing life and vitality in the canvas. His Old Master skills begin from his hand made canvas preparation to the hand made varnish for his paintings. The extraordinary landscapes reflect a peaceful and harmonious ambiance, as a means of transporting the viewer to a serene and contemplative visual experience. Perez's art has been exhibited all over the world, and his works are included in private and public collections in Israel, the United States, Canada, Europe, South America and Japan.

Pawlowski was born in 1949 in Poland. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. In 1979 he was awarded his "authorization and certification" by the Ministry of Arts and Culture in Warsaw. This recognition is the ultimate achievement for Polish artists. Immediately after reaching this stature, Jan was in demand for numerous individual and collective exhibitions.
