A fine impressionist pastel evening cityscape with carriages, possibly Boston, by American artist Arthur Clifton Goodwin (1864-1929). Born in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, Goodwin lived and worked most of his life in Massachusetts and New York, best known for his street and waterfront scenes.
Pastel on paper, signed lower center, and housed in a fine decorative molded giltwood frame and linen lined mat with gilt accent. Dimensions: 11 in H x 15.5 in W, sight; 20.5 in H x 24.75 in W x 2 in D. Ref: 56583
