Charming winter landscape of four brightly colored figures skiing through a snowy scene by Bill Alexander (American, 1912-1989). Signed "Alexander" lower right. Presented in a painted wood frame. Image size, 24"H x 20"L. Bill Alexander was born and raised in Colorado. He lived in Denver and Georgetown, Colorado where he owned Saxon Mountain Gallery. His paintings of skiing and winter scenes have a unique and distinctive quality. His works "...express the real atmosphere and feeling of skiing." He is an award winning painter and skiers are among his most enthusiastic collectors.
