Summer etude painted from life in the morning, standing on the balcony. The view from the balcony to the yard is depicted. Most of the work is taken up by the birch foliage, partly immersed in the shadow, emerald-purple, partly illuminated by the rising sun. Behind the birch we see white houses with red tiled roofs, also illuminated by the sun. In the distance on a hillock is a forest. In the morning haze it seems purple. Above everything is the sky in bluish-ochre shades. The work is painted in one layer in a manner reminiscent of impressionism. It conveys the elevated mood that usually occurs on a sunny summer morning.
The gallery presents Dmitry Yevtushenko, a professional artist who lives and works in Germany. Dmitry graduated from the Moscow Secondary Art School at the Surikov Institute and the Russian Academy of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. In art, he prefers to follow the traditions of craftsmanship, multiplied by direct impressions from what he has seen and experienced. And never stops improving his craftsmanship and artistic language.
Dmitry has participated in several dozen group and solo exhibitions in Russia and Germany. The artist's works are in private collections in the USA, Canada, Germany, Italy, Lithuania, Ukraine, Russia, etc. A number of portraits are in the collection of the A. A. Bakhrushin Theatre Museum. In 2007, the publishing house "White City" released a monograph with reproductions of his paintings in the series "Masters of Painting".
