EUGENE BEGARAT (Nice 1943) French School 20th Century - Post-Impressionist, pointillism - Eugène Begarat studies at the School of Decorative Arts of Nice then at the Nationale School of Beaux-Arts arts in Paris. He travelled to Venice in 1967 from where he brings back works carried out to the island of Murano then to Ravenne. He settles in Brittany in 1970 and discovers the pointillism and school from Pont-Aven. He is interested in the Nabis painters like Félix Vallotton and Maurice Denis. The juxtaposition of keys of colors gives a very strong vibration to his works. Since 1987, he takes part in many exhibitions in France and abroad.
