Merely glancing upon the dense, royal blue late afternoon sky, creates a lingering feeling of ethereal wonder in this original contemporary landscape. Angels have enveloped the natural universe, filling it with flowers, reflections and grace. The multitude of seemingly random colors burst downwards from the heavens with the sole purpose of creating joyous beauty on earth. So rare is such a resplendent view that you hesitate to divert your eyes so as not to risk its reality! Polish American Artist Eugene Maziarz uses a variety of impressionist brush strokes as he adds texture and dimension with impasto layers of oil paint to his unfolding composition with the free spirit of an abstract expressionist contemporary work. Prior to migrating to the United States, Maziarz was appointed, by the Ministry Committee of Culture of Warsaw, Poland, as a member of the prestigious Polish Organization of Artists; while still a resident of Poland, Maziarz also distinguished himself by teaching art at some of the leading Polish universities. He is now a full time artist showing and selling his unique works across America from Napa Valley to Philadelphia as well as abroad including extended visits to the land of his birth.
