An oil panting on Canvas, inspired by imaginary nature scenes where water, streams, flowers, and skies, assembles in a bright multicolor dance in thick layers of oil paint applied by knife and hand, enhanced by touches of Acrylic and Spray paint.
The canvas is stretched 116cm x 89cm (46"x35") and placed into a thin oak floater frame.
Gérard Stricher, an abstract impressionist, uses oil paints as his medium to create vibrant landscapes and nature. His paintings take the viewer on a welcoming journey; soon absorbing one to an experience in his world. Drawing from a basis of COBRA, his style begins to take life as these resonances dim.
