About the Item
Hip, chic and fun Santa Monica, California captured the imagination of artist Jim Twerell as it has the young and the young at heart for generations. Pop art blended with an expressionist style of painting was perfecly suited for Santa Monica with it's famed Route 66, the End of the Trail. Born and raised in New York City, Twerell graduated from the School of Visual Arts in NYC. Prior to dedicating himself to oil painting, Twerell attended the New York Film School and worked on the production of independent films. Inspired by the resurgence of Asbury Park, New Jersey Twerell presents the world through his own lens, offering insight into the world in which we live. This original pop art, expressionist landscape is framed in a custom black floater frame with silver accent lines on the face of the frame; the unframed size is 24x48.
