About the Item
As winter approaches the Caribbean islands invariably evoke memories of beautiful beaches, coral reefs, sand bars, and dreamy days in the sun. Pink sand, palm trees and boating excursions with picnics and BBQs in the salty ocean breeze leave you mellow beyond memory. Drawing since the age of three, painting since fifteen, this artist and renaissance man, Larry Felder, earned his bachelors degree in fine art from Montclair State College and has not stop studying, illustrating and painting since. His studying of light and shadow was derived from the Hudson River School and the Luminists, with a twenty first century perspective. Felder is a paleo artist as well as illustrator having recently completed a published volume highlighting dinosaurs chronologically. Felder has personally discovered historically significant fossils and is a regular contributor to related publications. Who better to dream of seascapes in the Caribbean with the artistic talent to enable the imagination to fly free?
