Later, during his time at the Forest Institute, he received artistic training from Anders Kallenberg. His travels for forestry studies led him to take a significant break in 1891, where he studied art in Brittany and Paris, particularly within a circle of Swedish painters and at a Scandinavian art school led by Richard Hall...
