Circa 1930
About the Item
This lovely Impressionist landscape oil painting is by prolific exhibitor and British artist Oliver Hall. Painted circa 1930 the composition is a path curving through some trees with the land dropping away beyond. It is probably early autumn as the bracken to the left is brown and some of the trees are dressed in early autumnal hues with the lovely silver birch trunks against a blue sky. This may well have been an exhibited work as Hall was so prolific an exhibitor and is an excellent example of his work.
