Konstantin Razumov (Константин Разумов) was born 1974 in Zarinsk, Russia, and studied at the Academy of Arts under Ilya Glazunov in Moscow, where he currently lives. He works from a home studio, and in Paris where he captures the romantic style in his beautiful paintings of elegantly dressed Parisian ladies. He was influenced by the Russian Romantic painters, notably Ilya Repin and Ivan Aivazovsky, and developed his own unique combination of Romanticism and early Impressionism, and adds some modern touches which are most obvious in his beautiful charming nudes. Razumov paints several genres and often focuses on elegant young ladies from the Belle Époque; at a Paris Cafe, in their boudoirs, or dancers at the Moulin Rouge and ballet. And like many of the early Romantics, he paints colourful portraits of beauties from the Harem in his own modern style. In contrast, his landscapes and interiors with Children; Playing on a beach or river bank, in a flower meadow or in party dress or ballet rehearsal are a delight. He often portrays children from a bygone era, and often introducing the child’s favourite pet, making the genre appealing to animal lovers He is perhaps best known for his elegant- nudes and semi-nudes, in both classical and modern styles. His nudes are soft & sensuous, and models well-mannered. Portrait of Jeannie Netter, wearing a Burgundy dress
By Fedor Encke
Located in West Sussex, GB
Fedor Encke (1851-1926) – German Full length Portrait of Jeannie Netter, standing in an interior, wearing a Burgundy Velvet Dress holding a Pink Rose Oil on canvas :85 ¾ x 50 ¼ in. Frame :103 x 67 ¼ in. Signed & inscribed ‘New York’. Circa 1910 Jeannie Netter was an American born musician and song-writer but was mostly merited for her sculpture having been taught by the Russian artist Bernstamm. Fedor Encke was born in Berlin, Germany in 1851. Younger brother of Erdmann Encke who was a sculptor, Encke was the illegitimate grandson of King Frederick Wilhelm II of Prussia and Mistress Wilhelmine Encke, Countess of Lichtenau. Fedor studied under Karl Gussow in Berlin and then went on to study in Rome and Paris. Although he set up a studio in Berlin during the 1880’s, he seems to have travelled regularly between Paris and New York painting many American Society sitters, including President Theodore Roosevelt. Encke’s portrait of Roosevelt dressed in Rough Rider uniform, originally hung in the dining room of the White House and is now at the Presidents place of birth, Segamore Hill, New York. This portrait was also published as the frontispiece of ‘The Rough Riders’ by C. Scribners&Sons, 1899. Encke was in Paris in 1902 and painted the two banking giants, John H. Harjes and J.P. Morgan both having their portraits painted at the same time. To try and finish Morgan’s painting Encke hired a young photographer named Edward Steichen to take Morgan’s picture as a kind of aid memoir to minimize the sitting time. This photograph and the painting that resulted from it caused a considerable stir because of the uncompromising pose of Morgan. The portrait became synonymous with the new capitalism. Encke seems to have been very well connected socially and painted for many members of the European nobility as a result. Encke died in 1926. Works in Museums: Segamore Hill, New York (Portrait of Theodore Roosevelt) National Portrait Gallery America; Smithsonian; Brooklyn Museum of Art; Philadelphia Museum of Art. Cowboy Boots and Cell Phone, Oil Painting
By Warren Keating
Located in San Francisco, CA

Artist Comments
I hope my work inspires you to rediscover the wonder and joy in the everyday. This contemporary figurative painting was inspired by the view from my hotel balcony of the pedestrians walking below me. Using my signature Pixel Impressionist brush strokes, I created the motion of the walking figure and my passion for the subject.

About the Artist
Warren Keating's paintings start with documentation. He captures subjects on video from birds-eye views, digitizes the film on his computer and, finally, paints them on canvas in an active style he describes as Pixel Impressionism. He merges artistic elements of the 20th Century with 21st Century technology. Warren credits Futurism as well as Richard Diebenkorn and Willem de Kooning as influences in his paintings. Fun fact: Warren’s inspiration for this series came from a vacation to Paris where he photographed passersby from his hotel balcony in Saint-Germain-des-Prés.
