About the Item
"Snowy Mudslide" features the central, gold leaf circle found in Yuri Figueroa's oil paintings. The geometric gold leaf circle is surrounded by layered oil on canvas. Yuri builds texture and depth by layering warm earth-toned colors with muddied white. The oil paint has both an organic and geometric quality to it as lines are created by the rich reddish browns but seem to seep down the canvas into the white portions.

Yuri Figueroa was born in Colima, Mexico, in 1989. The themes in his artworks cycle around the concepts of identity, the individual, the dreams and the imaginary.
