Aaron Siskind was a prominent American photographer known for his significant contributions to abstract photography. Chicago is from a well known series where he photographed walls with graffiti and left over posters and notifications in such a way that they look like abstract expressionist paintings. These photographs bring texture and sophistication to any room and no one did this type of subject matter better than Siskind.
