In the 18th century, when leather was in high demand, 'Gaucho' culture arose as men started to clandestinely hunt the huge herds of horses and cattle. “A Gaucho without a horse is only half a man” The word ‘Gaucho’ was used to describe the free spirits, inseparable from their horse and knife. Over time, when extensive portions of prairies were settled and commercial cattle herding began, there was less room for Gauchos to live independently. As their way of living changed, the legend of the Gauchos grew. This photograph will be printed once payment has been received and will ship directly from the printer the artist works with. Ceccarini offers the artists the opportunity to collaborate with some of the very best models he has worked with throughout his career to create an array of spectacular images. The Artist brings his own creative universe, techniques and palette, the Model their personality and body language. The model and artist interaction is key to the process. The temporary nature of the painting on human skin is captured and immortalized through Ceccarini’s lens to create the photographic artwork. Eric sets himself apart from others by shunning technical artifice and working in natural light, outside the studio. This results in soft, velvety, almost painterly images that amaze. Eric is a Belgian artist born in 1965. He gained a degree in photography from INFAC, Brussels in 1987, and has since then been a fashion photographer working with many of the top houses. Chopard, Elle, Marie-Claire, L’Oréal, Levi’s, Coca Cola, Virgin, Saab, Delvaux, Lowe Lintas and Ogilvy are just some of Ceccarini’s high-profile clients. Limited Edition of 4 2 Artist Prints Based in Asia for two years (2015-2017) Corinne Mariaud produced two series - "Fake i Real Me" and "Flower Beauty Boys" - which question the obsession for beauty and pressure over physical appearance among young people in Singapore, Seoul and Tokyo. Her "Fake i Real Me" series was part of “Human +, the future of our species” exhibition in Singapore Art Science Museum 2017 Her photographic series evoke, through the figure of the body, the quest for identity, the struggle of the individual to preserve singularity in a standardised world. It questions the woman' image and her place in our contemporary society, the diktat of appearance, cliché about femininity and masculinity. Corinne Mariaud (b. 1964) is a French photographer who lives and works in Paris. After graduating from Duperré National School of Arts in Paris, Corinne Mariaud started working as a portrait and fashion photographer for numerous French magazines (Liberation, Le Monde, Marie-Claire, Marie-France…), before turning to Fine Art photography.Corinne was inspired to become a photographer when discovering the work of the American artist Cindy Sherman. She was also fascinated by the drawings of Robert Longo and the humour of Erwin Wurm. Her work points to a range of literary and artistic influences, and draws from the work of artists such as Louise Bourgeois, Nancy Spero or Kiki Smith who have, in their own ways, questioned the female identity. She also feels deeply inspired by writers such as Virginia Wolf...
