About the Item

All prints are limited edition. Available in multiple sizes. High-end framing on request. All prints are done and signed by the artist. The collector receives an additional certificate of authenticity from the gallery. 'Badrutt's II' by David Yarrow is an ode to the Badrutt Family, who made St. Moritz the iconic gathering place for the rich and beautiful it is today. The 60s Styling is a memory of the time that Gunter Sachs and Brigitte Bardot were holding court and helping make St. Moritz the most glamorous winter resort on earth. Two models in voluminous 60s hairstyles, fur boots, and casual jeans and sweaters are lounging on an Aston Martin DB5. The car became an icon in itself in the James Bond movie 'Goldfinger' from 1964. In combination with the iconic entrance to the Palace Hotel in St. Moritz with its uniformed staff in the Background, the image pulls the viewer right into the world of glittering snow, champagne, and promise that is St. Moritz. David Yarrow is a British fine art photographer and one of the world's most spectacular and best-selling nature photographers. Visual storytelling is his craft, and large-format monochrome prints are his medium. Through elaborately staged settings, Yarrow conjures the magic of the great American history, from the Wild West to Route 66. In his wildlife photography, he captures the planet's beauty. Majestic lions, sleek panthers, and free-roaming buffalos populate his works, trumped only by the female bombshells Yarrow places beside them. While highlighting the untamed side of supermodels such as Cara Delevingne or Cindy Crawford, Yarrow portrays the wild beasts in the most human way possible. PREISS FINE ARTS is one of the most successful galleries on the international art market and is responsible for the increasing importance of fine art photography. The collector receives an additional certificate of authenticity from the gallery. 'The Lodge at Vail' centers around the famous model Alessandra Ambrosio standing next to a 1956 Mercedes Benz 300 SL Gullwing. A wolf is sticking its head out the car's door. The Model is wearing a 70s-inspired fur coat and boots and holding a ski set. An ode to the lodge's beginnings is in the background. The Lodge at Vail was the first proper hotel to operate in a resort that arrived at the Colorado ski party exceptionally late. The first stones of Vail were laid in 1962, making it the new kid on the block...
