Dan Christensen
Dan Christensen, (October 6, 1942 – January 20, 2007) was an American abstract painter He is best known for paintings that relate to Lyrical Abstraction, Color field painting and Abstract expressionism.Christensen was born in Cozad, Nebraska, and died in Easthampton, New York. His early work from 1965-1966 was related to Minimalism. A graduate of the Kansas City Art Institute, class of 1964, Dan Christensen moved to New York City from the Mid-West during the late summer of 1965. Christensen was represented by several influential galleries including the Andre Emmerich Gallery, the Salander/O'Reilly Gallery and various others throughout the United States and Europe. He has had more than seventy-five solo exhibitions and his work has been included in hundreds of group exhibitions. His paintings are in important museum collections throughout the United States and Europe.

Don Fink (1923-2010) was a well known and well listed Abstract Expressionist who studied at the Art Students League and the Academie Julian. He was born in Duluth , Minnesota, but later moved to Europe where he established himself as an artist. He was first based in Paris where he was a member of the "Jeune École de Paris" (with Karel Appel, Debre, Friedensreich Hundertwasser, Antoni Tapies, Dumitresco, Messagier, Zanartu , etc.) and later moved to Barcelona.
A large retrospective of his earlier works was held in Madrid in 1998 with the following promotion:

American "action" painter Don Fink (b. Duluth, Minnesota, 1923) has a show at Galería Rayuela through September 25. The artist divides his time between Barcelona, Paris, and New York. This is his second exhibition in Madrid in four years. The works on view date from 1952 to 1970. Their "active" surfaces meld the arts of tattooing, calligraphy and three-dimensional terrain mapping, resulting in a meditative and rewarding experience for the viewer.
