About the Item
Monotype, on a page from an 18th century Antiphonaire (The antiphonary is a Catholic liturgical book gathering the Gregorian scores of the hours canoniales). This unique piece on antique paper was completed during Allirand's time as Resident Artist at the French Institute of Tangier, 2017. Unique piece, Signed in pencil. One of two done concurrently. Also signed on the verso, where you can see what the original pages looked like. The first was blue (also listed here).
RENAUD ALLIRAND was born in 1970, and currently lives and works in Paris. He has exhibited regularly since 1995, winning numerous prizes for his painting, prints and illustrated artists books. His work is in both public and private collections throughout the United States and Europe. In 2007 he was invited to be the Resident artist at the French institute of Tangier - Tétouan, Morocco. He has repeated with that honor in 2017.

Renaud Allirand
Renaud Allirand was born in 1970 and currently lives and works in Paris. He has exhibited regularly since 1995 and has won numerous prizes for his painting, prints and illustrated artist's books. His work is in both public and private collections throughout the United States and Europe. In 2007, he was invited to be the resident artist at the French Institute of Tangier-Tetouan, Morocco. He has repeated that experience in 2016 and continues to exhibit in some of Paris’ top galleries.
