Signed by Gilliam and numbered in pencil. Published by Lincoln Center List Poster and Print Program, New York. This poster was a part of those produced in partnership with Lincoln Center & Vera List Art Project. Lincoln Center Editions is a component of the Vera List Art Project, which was launched at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in 1962 by philanthropist and art collector, Vera List. In particular, her vision and commitment helped to develop Lincoln Center into a true intersection of the arts, both visual and performance.

Raised in the Pico-Union Central Area of Los Angeles, KARLOS MARQUEZ has been contributing to the local LA art scene since 1983 when he created his first Graffiti Art pieces with friends under the name “Kartoon”. In 1985 he joined K2S (Kill 2 Succeed) graffiti crew as one of the original members. He continued to develop his style by studying art at Los Angeles City College and Associates of Art in Sherman Oaks where he studied life drawing and full figure drawing with Mark Westermoe. Due to his keen eye for detail and his polished technique he has collaborated with some of the most prolific Graffiti artists and artists in the world including Joe “Prime” Reza and Kris Cunz.
