Good conditions.
Fresh and delicate impression representing Madame de Pompadour and a male figure performing "Acis and Galatea" in front of Louis XV and the rest of the court of Versailles.
The artwork was realized by Adolphe Lalauze (1838 - 1906) after Nicolas Cochin the Younger, a prolific French etcher and artist who realized illustrations for many books.
The scene is set in the Ambassadors' Staircase at the Palace of Versailles, a grand staircase that was destroyed in 1752
