Adolphe Beaufrère born on March 24, 1876 in Quimperlé ( Finistère ) and died onFebruary 16, 1960 in Larmor-Plage ( Morbihan ) is a painter and engraver French. Much of his work is inspired by Brittany. Adolphe Beaufrère entered the École des beaux-arts de Paris in 1897, where he was a pupil of Gustave Moreau and then of Fernand Cormon. Besides painting, he is particularly interested in engraving. He began at the Salon of French artists in 1898.
