About the Item
Ceravolo is one of The Hampton's most popular urban Pop artists whose work is collected by Elton John, Rod Stewart, and Alice Cooper among others. Ceravolo has been call the "Rock and Roll Painter" and "Painter of the Stars of Rock" by the media.
This new very limited edition print is limited to only 10 images. This work is numbered 1/ 10. The art is titled "The Girl with Kaleidoscope Eyes". The reason for the title is that the symbols printed in yellow represent the letters of the alphabet and are a code for part of the lyrics in the song "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" by The Beatles.
Ceravolo has featured a photograph of one of his favorite models combined with the "floating" symbols. The image of the Model is combined with the "floating" symbols not only to create a thought-provoking work of art, but to also give the viewer a chance to try and figure out what lyrics from the song the symbols refer to. An answer key to the code is included with the framed art.
Each image is extremely limited to only 10 prints and this is number one, signed and numbered 1 / 10.
The framed art measures 39x28", image size is 33x22" and is printed on 100% rag paper.
We have included in this listing images of Ceravolo with some of his celebrity and RockN'Roll clients.

Ceravolo
The paintings of Ceravolo can be found in many influential corporate and private collections, including: ELTON JOHN, ROD STEWART, HUGH M. HEFNER, PETE DAVIDSON, GRANT CARDONE, DAVID BRENNER, MONIQUE VAN VOOREN, WARNER BROS., RCA RECORDS AND SCHENLEY INDUSTRIES to name a few. His art came to popular attention when he was commissioned to create five large scale paintings for the lobby of The Palladium Theatre in New York City. The large oil paintings were of legendary Superstars in the music business, Jackson Browne, Linda Ronstadt, Frank Zappa, Neil Young and Hall and Oates. Ceravolo started to add abstract elements to his realistic figurative oil paintings and he coined the term Portrait Illusions in 1979 which referred to the appearance of the finished painting where the color abstract areas of the painting gave the illusion that they were "floating" in front of the realistic figure which he painted in values of Gray, Black and White on the canvas. This unique technique caught the eye of many collectors and galleries and brought the work of Ceravolo to a worldwide audience. He works at his Hampton's studio creating his Urban POP paintings where he still combines colorful abstract elements with Black, White and Gray figurative images.

Kate Garner is an English photographer, fine artist, and singer. Garner has photographed a wide range of musicians and celebrities, including Dr. Dre, Leigh Bowery, JT LeRoy, Angelina Jolie, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, David Bowie, Cameron Diaz, PJ Harvey, John Galliano, Björk, and Kate Moss.
Her work has appeared in the American and British versions of Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar as well as W magazine, Interview, GQ, Vanity Fair, Elle, and The Sunday Times.
Kate Garner was expelled from high school at the age of 16 and became a runaway who joined The Children Of God. To escape the grasp of the cult she hitchhiked from London through Eastern Europe to India in 1970, where she lived for a year as a traveler before being located by her parents. She attended art school at Blackpool in the North of England and later moved to London, where she began to both photograph and model for up-and-coming magazines such as The Face and i-D.
Kate Garner first came widely into the public eye as one-third of the 1980s avant-garde, new wave pop project Haysi Fantayzee, along with other members Jeremy Healy and Paul Caplin. Emanating from street art scenes such as the Blitz Kids that were cropping up in London in the early 1980s, Haysi’s music combined reggae, country, and electro with political and sociological lyrics couched as nursery rhymes.
Catapulted to stardom by their visual sensibilities, Haysi Fantayzee combined their extreme clothes sense – described as combining white Rasta, tribal chieftain, and Dickensian styles – with a quirky musical sound comparable to other new wave musical pop acts of the era, such as Bow Wow Wow, Adam and the Ants and Bananarama. They appeared several times on the BBC Television program Top of the Pops. Despite being touted by Bowie producer Tony Visconti as the next big thing, the group quickly disbanded after releasing three hit singles “John Wayne Is Big Leggy”, “Shiny Shiny”, and “Holy Joe”, and an album, Battle Hymns for Children Singing, that went gold.
Garner then returned to painting, photography, and video, launching a successful media arts career, starting with her collaboration with Sinéad O’Connor...
