Urias is an original artwork realized by Crispijn van de Passe in the first half of the XVII Century. Original burin after an original by Martin de Vox chez Sadeler. Passepartout included (cm 50 x 35). Titled on the lower margin. Very good conditions. Crispijn van de Passe (Arnemuide, 1564 – Utrecht, 1637) was a Dutch engraver, painting, drawer and miniaturist. He was the father of Simon, Willem, Magdalena and Crispijn and a pupil of Dirck Coornhert. He realized especially portraits for the European nobility but also engraving with religious and mithological subjects. His style is influenced by Sten Adamsen and he belonged to the School of Haarlem. He used to sign his works with the monograms CVP and PCV, also with intertwined letters.
