Etching after an artwork by Dominiquin (Domenichino).

The artwork represents a king on the left and a queen on the right under a dais. The figures are monumental and the volumes of the bodies are realized with contrasting and decise strokes.
Gérard Audran (Lyon, 1640 - Paris, 1703). Audran was an artist and engraver who took inspiration from the Italian old masters, such as Guercino, Domenichino, and Carracci.
