The Phoenix is an original Contemporary Artwork realized in Italy by Guelfo Bianchini (Ancona, 1937) in 1962.
Original colored Etching on paper.
Hand-signed and dated in pencil on the lower right corner: Guelfo 62. Numbered on the lower left corner in pencil: 21/25.
Edition of 25 prints. The dry label is present on the lower right corner.
Mint conditions.
Excellent work depicting a colored female figure on a green background. The work is realized with different shades of color and several silhouettes and a bird in the center of the composition. The work has been realized by the Italian artist Guelfo Bianchini (Ancona 1937). Born in Fabriano in 1937, he lives and works in Rome, where he did his artistic studies. He has participated in international shows and collaborated with world-renowned artists such as Bartolini, De Chirico, Cocteau, Oskar Kokoschka and Marc Chagall. After a first experience in "living drawing" and in "advertising drawing" he devoted himself only to painting which he discovered as an autodidact. In 1960 he took interest in the human figure especially in the woman one, and he went on developing it for some years.
