Nino Terziari
Nino Terziari was born in Imola in 1929. He conducted his first painting studies in Bologna, then in Paris and Stuttgart. From 1950–58, he lived and worked abroad, especially in Germany and Switzerland, countries where he began his exhibition. Terziari presented to the public for the first time in a solo exhibition in Zurich at Galerie Kirchgasse from 1st to 15th July 1958. He displayed a series of material and informal works. In this first phase, he was interested to experiment with the emotional aspects of color and matter based on what was proposed in the same years in Europe and German-speaking countries. This first production gave him some success with critics, especially in Germany, where his artistic training was rooted.
