Il va l'apaiser is an original watercolored print realized in the first quarter of the 19th century by the French artist Philibert-Louis Debucourt (1755 – 1832).
The artwork is the plate n. 13 from a suite of 52 plates entitled "Modes et Manières du jour à Paris à la fin du 18e siècle et au commencement du 19e siècle", printed by Bureau du Journal des Dames, Paris [1798-1808].
On the higher part is printed the number of plate: "Modes &c. N° 13."
Original title printed on the lower center, with a romantic inscription "je ne veut pas aimer" into the engraved area.
In excellent condition, with vivid colors and including an elegant cardboard Passepartout, cm 25 x 19.
