The state of preservation is good except for some small stains.
Tommasi Ferroni's style is recognizable in the fluid hatching, in the deep blacks, and in the metaphysical, visionary, and surreal subject matter which are skillfully depicted in the Napoleon.
Riccardo Tommasi Ferroni (1934-2000) was an Italian painter and engraver. He was an exponent of the Neo-figurative movement that followed stylistically the Italian painting tradition, in particular Mannerism and Baroque.
