Etching and aquatint on paper. Hand signed and titled lower front by Roy Fairchild-Woodard. Hand numbered 126/385 lower left. Artwork size 29 x 22 inches.

About the Artist: Roy Fairchild was born in England in 1953. After high school he studied graphic design and went to work as an illustrator for an advertising company. It wasn't until 1980 that he became interested painting and printmaking. Inspired by the frescos and tapestries he studied in his travels throughout Europe, Fairchild paints with rich color and texture, combining elements of The Renaissance with a more contemporary style and technique.
