About the Item

Decorative Frieze is an original Modern Artwork realized in the Half of the 19th Century in France. Original Colored Etching on paper. Passepartout included (cm 35 x 50). Inscripted on the lower margin "Peinture" and "Mosaique". Mint conditions. Excellent work on paper depicting a Pompeian Frieze. The work depicts a fountain in the center on the composition with colored marbles on the base and, on the right and on the left side, there are two geometrical mosaic geometrical banners. On the back of the work we can see the typical Red Pompeian Wall.
