About the Item
Keep 'em Flying Hennies Bros Show original vintage military, carnival, and amusement park poster. Created during World War Two when entertainment and enjoyment were much more limited, this poster created a time to also support the war effort.
Up in the sky there is a couple of airplanes, in the middle is the letter "V" for Victory bonds and stamps that were used during wartime. The Statue of Liberty stands with her torch held high in the cobalt blue sky.
The Hennie Bros Carnival existed from 1934 to 1951 and was owned by Orville & Harry Hennies.
This is a very unique poster because during this time frame all efforts were aimed at the World War Two support.
This poster, because of its size, is printed on two sheets. The images will show you were the two sheets were put together during linen backing.
