Original 1934 Lithograph poster for TSF radio Monopole "une vague de puissance et d'harmonie" (a wave of power and harmony) with the beautiful mermaid strumming her harp. Archival linen backed. Very good condition. Ready to frame.. Printer: Damour, Paris. Great price! Great condition!
The 1930s and 1940s are known as the Golden Age of Radio when people averaged more than four hours a day listening to radio broadcasts.
A mermaid rests along the top of large waves, strumming a harp as she listens to her new Monopole radio. The waves create a cavern to feature the new model radio that was produced in 1934. Monopole was a French manufactured product. Une vague de puissance et d'harmonie" which translates to "A wave of power and harmony."
