I was walking alongside the rape fields in Devon, the sky was blue and the light was beautiful in this reduction linocut. This is a method of relief printing in which each colour layer is taken from the same block (lino), meaning that an entire edition must be printed in one go as once the lino has been carved into for the next layer, you can't go back to print more.
