About the Item
A simple side view of a Flower head in full bloom. A combination of solid, sweeping brushstrokes with subtle botanical elements in six layers including Silver and Metallic Gold. The inspiration for this print came when I decided to go back to basics and create something that was expressive and minimal. In this case the starting point was a lily. To create a simple silhouette of a flower and then add lines of overlapping colours inside a silhouette. Limited edition of 50. It’s 40 x 40 cm. Artwork printed on Southbank smooth 250 gsm.

ARIST BIOGRAPHY:
Chris Keegan is an illustrator living and working in London. Since graduating from Camberwell College of Art Chris Keegan artist and printmaker has worked for a wide range of newspapers and magazines including the Financial Times, Time magazine, the Observer, The Guardian, Time Out, GQ Australia, Mac User and Design Week Magazine. He has worked for a variety of design and ad agencies including EMI Records, Mother London, COPA and Momentum Design. In his spare time he prints his own limited edition screenprints.
