Original vintage travel poster for Stockholm featuring a great illustration by Iwar Donner (1884-1964) depicting the red tower of Stockholm City Hall prominently in the centre with the colourful trees and historic city buildings in the background surrounded by boats and ships sailing on the blue water in front of a silhouette skyline in deep blue against the yellow shaded sky on the horizon, the title text in bold white lettering below. Located on Kungsholmen Island, Stockholm City Hall was inaugurated in 1923, based on the winning design by Swedish architect Ragnar Ostberg (1866-1945) in an architecture contest; the building serves as the Municipal Council for the capital city of Stockholm Sweden and hosts the annual Nobel Prize award banquet. Issued by The Swedish Traffic Association Stockholm. Good condition, restored pinholes, restored tears, small restored paper losses, backed on linen.
