About the Item

Drypoint etching on buff wove paper, 9 3/4 x 12 3/4 inches (250 x 322 mm), full margins. Signed in pencil, lower right margin. Some general age tone, and minor mat tone around the perimeter of the sheet and well outside of the image area. Some moderate edge wear including several minor tears extending about 1/4-inch in from the sheet edge, also well outside of the image area. The image itself is in very good condition with excellent inking. A touching portrait, and a scarce impression.
