Beach Boats [2022] limited_edition Linocut print Edition number 50 Image size: H:33 cm x W:45 cm Complete Size of Unframed Work: H:49 cm x W:61 cm x D:0.2cm Sold Unframed Please note that insitu images are purely an indication of how a piece may look Clinker-built boats have always been a fascination of mine. I love their lines and shapes at low tide. These I came across on a coastal walk in Suffolk. The sun was setting and I tried to capture the effect of light on water. Rob Barnes, artist, is available for sale online and in our art gallery at Wychwood Art. Rob Barnes studied painting and printmaking at Hull College of Art and London University in the early 1960s. He taught etching, screen-printing, lino and related surface printmaking at Keswick Hall College in Norfolk. He later moved to the University of East Anglia, Norwich where he continued teaching in the School of Education until 2006. Presently he divides his time between printmaking and his other passion, playing the violin in local orchestras and for choral performances. In 2017 he began making a small number of sterling silver jewellery pieces following a course at West Dean, Sussex. His artwork follows themes, such as light on water, or shadows in the landscape. Linocuts are hand-printed on an Albion press...

Hawthoria Fasciata, Contemporary Still Life Art, Bright Linocut Plant Art Print
Located in Deddington, GB
Kerry Day Haworthia Fasciata is a limited edition still life print by Kerry Day. Reduction linocuts are printed from one piece of lino, cutting it again for each new colour in the design. All the prints for an edition have to be printed before moving on to the next colour, because once the lino is re-cut you can’t make any more. Depending on how many colours are use, at the end there may be very little of the lino block left uncut. Recently I find myself moving on from people to plants. Inspiration has come from the many cacti and plants I share my home and studio with – the strong profiles of my spiky friends and the marvellously named Elephant Ear plant...

Toys in the Attic-Limited Edition Giclée print on Archival Cotton Paper Abstract
Located in Bal Harbour, FL
Toys in the Attic, 2016 Giclée print on Archival Cotton Paper. Acid and Lignin-free. The painting is a limited edition Giclée print, meticulously crafted on archival cotton paper, ensuring its durability and preserving the intricate details of the artwork. The composition takes us into the realm of imagination, depicting toys stored in an attic. Instead of representing the toys in a literal manner, the artist employs a delightful mix of geometric shapes and colors to stimulate our imagination and conjure up images of these playful objects. As we explore the artwork, we can discern a plethora of shapes carefully arranged to evoke the presence of toys. Circles, triangles, squares, and rectangles dominate the composition, both in regular and irregular forms. These shapes interact harmoniously, creating an abstract and fanciful representation of the toys that once brought joy to children. The artist's skillful use of colors enhances the whimsical atmosphere of the painting. Shades of green, orange, soft purple, soft pink, soft yellow, violet, black, and white come together, creating a captivating palette that infuses the artwork with vibrancy and energy. The colors evoke a sense of nostalgia and playfulness, transporting viewers to the imaginative world of childhood. Through the artist's masterful execution, the painting invites us to engage our imagination, allowing us to perceive the hidden toys within the abstract forms. Each viewer may envision different objects based on their personal memories and associations, breathing life into the artwork in their own unique way. "Water Glasses" - Still Life Etching in Ink on Paper (#9/20)
Located in Soquel, CA
Clean, modern depiction of glasses of water on books by Ellen Ezorsky (American, b. 1956). Three glasses of water are sitting atop a few stacked books. Of particular note is the way she has captured the reflections in the water and the light that the glasses cast on the surfaces below them. Numbered, titled, signed, and dated along the bottom edge: 9/20 Water Glasses Ellen Ezorsky 11/81 Presented in a new white mat with foamcore backing. Under the Sea - Limited Edition Giclée print on Archival Cotton Paper Abstract
Located in Bal Harbour, FL
Under the Sea, 2018 Giclée print on Archival Cotton Paper. Acid and Lignin-free. The painting is a limited edition Giclée print, expertly created on archival cotton paper, ensuring its longevity and preserving the intricate details of the artwork. The composition transports us to the depths of the ocean, where the artist uses a mesmerizing combination of geometric shapes and vibrant colors to represent the small animals, plants, and corals that reside in the deep sea. The backdrop of the painting is a captivating blue, symbolizing the vastness of the ocean. Against this blue sea, a multitude of figures, expertly rendered with geometric shapes, appear to be swimming and floating. The artist's imaginative use of shapes and colors invites the viewer's imagination to explore the hidden wonders of the underwater world. A vivid and dynamic palette of colors enhances the enchanting atmosphere of the painting. Shades of green, orange, soft purple, fuchsia, yellow, purple, white, and black come together, evoking the vibrant hues found in the marine ecosystem. These colors breathe life into the artwork, capturing the diversity and beauty of the underwater environment. Among the various figures, some are designed with a grated or textured appearance, adding depth and intricacy to the composition. This textured design creates a sense of movement and mimics the intricate patterns found in coral reefs and marine life. As the viewer explores the artwork, they may discern a multitude of shapes, ranging from circles and triangles to abstract and fanciful forms. Regular and irregular shapes coexist harmoniously, creating a visual tapestry that hints at the diversity and complexity of marine life. Under the Sea, 2018 Giclée print on Archival Cotton Paper. Blood Rose, Rosie Emerson, Contemporary Silkscreen Print, Figurative art
Located in Deddington, GB
Blood Roses by Rosie Emerson Hand signed by the artist Limited Edition Silkscreen Print Edition of 10 +2 AP’s Sheet Size: H 75cm x W 55cm x D 0.1cm Sold Unframed Please note that in situ images are purely an indication of how a piece may look. Blood Roses is a limited edition figurative print by Rosie Emerson. This piece is a hand painted charcoal and Bronze powder screen print on 300gsm Somerset Satin Printmaking Paper. The style of the work is evocative of the prohibition era. Rosie Emerson, born in 1981, is a contemporary artist working almost exclusively on representing the female form. Emerson’s figures draw reference from archetypes old and new, from Artemis to the modern day super model, each solitary figure, an allegory of her own fantasy. Interested in surface, the interplay between photography and painting. Emerson’s works are playful constructs; Photography is used, not as a device for capturing reality but for creating romanticised optical illusions. Inspired by her love of theatre, performance, shrines and rituals, she uses lighting, costume, set and prop making, alongside printmaking and a painters palette to create one off pieces which aim to be simultaneously known and unknown; of this world and not. Her photography is inspired by both the drama of the baroque, and ethereal qualities of Pre Raphaelite works. Other important influences include late medieval and renaissance paintings, Japanese prints, and magical realist literature. Emerson’s work is widely collected and exhibited both in the UK as well as internationally, through galleries, art fairs and museums. She has also worked with brands and individuals including Harvey Nichols, The Ivy Club, Sony, Triumph Underwear, Redbull, P&O Cruises, and Annoushka jewelry...
