About the Item
Barrett is one of our great American sculptors who worked in large scale outdoor formats and more intimate indoor maquette sizes. This abstraction by him is a very fine composition and great from every angle. It has a black and green patina. It is striking for a table, console, coffee table or to be featured on a base. Often his works combine a slightly organic feel and sometimes they can be figurative. This composition is more on the organic side with elements of cubism.
Barrett has several books on his work and he has had an exceptional career casting in bronze and stainless steel and working with Aluminum.
