About the Item

This is an engaging bronze sculpture created by the Italian artist Patrizia Guerresi, in 1986. The piece is a multiple of 1000 specimens on a green-painted wooden base. This artwork is a lucky charm Title "Melograno" translate in Pomegranate. Patrizia Guerresi was born in Vicenza, Italy, in 1951, and lives and works in Verona. He took part to a number of home and International exhibitions, among which: Xth Prize Lubiam, Biennale Internationale Piccola Scultura in Padova, Biennale Internazionale in Venice and at the Quadriennale in Rome. Her works are permanently exhibited in the Museum of Trapani and Vicenza in Italy. This is a multiple of a numbered edition of 1000 pieces; we can offer you the latest pieces that were made in the 1986 but they are in very good condition cause remained since then stored and packed in the Editor warehouse. Every bronze sculpture is completed by the Certificate of Authenticity with the number assigned to the piece and the original signature of the author.

A bronze sculpture on marble base by Emile Gilioli entitled "La Petite Sphere". This piece will be included in "The Forth Coming" catalog which is being produced by The Gilioli Archive. "Emile Gilioli was born to a family on Italian shoemakers who had settled beside the Canal Saint-Martin. After the first World War, the family moved back towards Italy, settling in Nice. In 1932, Gilioli took courses at the Ecole des Arts Decoratifs de Nice, notably with the future artist Marie Raymond. During the Second World War, Gilioli was mobilized in Grenoble where he passed the remainder of the conflict. He made the acquaintance of Andry Fracy, a conservationist at the Grenoble Musee des baux-arts and led him to discover cubism. After the war, Gilioli settled in Saint-Martin-de-La-Cluze near Grenoble, where he sculpted in his workshop. His art was associated in a certain way with the deeds of the French Renaissance.
