Association of Women Art Dealers (AWAD)
The Association of Women Art Dealers (AWAD), established in 2009, is an international network that facilitates business and collaborations between and for members at all stages of their career as business owners, with a vision to positively impact the enterprise of each member. Each of the three chapters — London, New York and Global — has a monthly event and welcomes membership applications from women and women-identifying art dealers, advisors and gallerists based worldwide.

Over the last 30+ years he has designed over 1200 albums and single covers, as well as promotional and full campaigns for a myriad of artists including, Interpol, Madonna, The White Stripes, RZA, Moby, The Black Crowes, Elvis Costello, to name a few.
After a 10 year spot as the Creative Director for Sir Richard Branson’s North American Record Label V2, he set up GRAPHICTHERAPY in 2007, a small boutique creative agency that offers a complete range of design services, both in print and media.
A unique mix of art direction, design and creative illustration can be seen across a wide variety of brands, products and publications in music, fashion, events and campaigns. His largest illustrated piece is a 90ftx50ft mural on 57th and Park Avenue for the British menswear company, Turnbull & Asser, as part of their rebrand. David’s work has been recognized by numerous global companies and publications, and has won several industry awards. He continues to work from his studio in Harlem.

Rosie Emerson, born in 1981, is a contemporary artist working almost exclusively on representing the female form. Emerson’s figures draw reference from archetypes old and new, from Artemis to the modern day super model, each solitary figure, an allegory of her own fantasy. Interested in surface, the interplay between photography and painting. Emerson’s works are playful constructs; Photography is used, not as a device for capturing reality but for creating romanticised optical illusions.
Inspired by her love of theatre, performance, shrines and rituals, she uses lighting, costume, set and prop making, alongside printmaking and painting to create other worldly one off pieces. Her photography is inspired by both the drama of the baroque, and ethereal qualities of Pre Raphaelite works. Other important influences include late medieval and renaissance paintings, Japanese prints, and magical realist literature.
Emerson’s work is widely collected and exhibited both in the UK as well as internationally, through galleries, art fairs and museums. She has also worked with brands and individuals including Harvey Nichols, The Ivy Club, Sony, Triumph Underwear, Redbull, P&O Cruises, and Annoushka jewelry...

Frankenstein is a 1931 American science fiction horror film directed by James Whale, produced by Carl Laemmle Jr., and adapted from a 1927 play by Peggy Webling, which in turn was based on Mary Shelley's 1818 novel Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus.
Frankenstein stars Colin Clive as Henry Frankenstein, an obsessed scientist who digs up corpses with his assistant in order to assemble a living being from body parts. The resulting creature, often known as Frankenstein's monster, is portrayed by Boris Karloff. The make-up for the monster was provided by Jack Pierce. Dune is a 1984 American epic science fiction film written and directed by David Lynch and based on the 1965 Frank Herbert novel of the same name. The film stars Kyle MacLachlan (in his film debut) as young nobleman Paul Atreides, and includes an ensemble of well-known American and European actors in supporting roles. It was filmed at the Churubusco Studios in Mexico City and included a soundtrack by the rock band Toto, as well as Brian Eno.
Set in the distant future, the film chronicles the conflict between rival noble families as they battle for control of the extremely harsh desert planet Arrakis, also known as "Dune". The planet is the only source of the drug melange—also called "the spice"—which allows prescience and is vital to space travel, making it the most essential and valuable commodity in the universe. Paul Atreides is the scion and heir of a powerful noble family, whose inheritance of control over Arrakis brings them into conflict with its former overlords, House Harkonnen. Paul is also a candidate for the Kwisatz Haderach, a messianic figure in the Bene Gesserit religion. Robert Lederman has been very vocal about the rights of art vendors selling goods in SoHo. He founded A.R.T.I.S.T. (Artists' Response To Illegal State Tactics) in 1993 in order to fight the "legal and political struggle for full First Amendment protection involving the creation, display and sale of art on NYC streets and in Parks." The Brooklyn-born Mr. Lederman was 12 when he sold his first art, portraits of movie stars, outside Dubrow's deli on Kings Highway; he used the proceeds to buy monster movies on 8-millimeter film (he wanted to be a director).
